Entry deadline extended for the British Farming Awards
The entry deadline for the British Farming Awards has been extended by a further seven days.
It has been a difficult few months for most farmers with the ongoing situation across the UK, so we are allowing farmers from all sectors a bit more time to complete their entries. And for those who have not yet had time to enter, the chance to give their business a boost is very much still up grabs and to showcase how the industry has excelled during challenging times.
With a renewed appreciation for the UK’s food supply chain, there has never been such an opportunity to recognise the pivotal role farming plays across the country.
Over the last few months the agricultural industry has been at the heart of meeting the exponential demand from consumers for everyday ingredients, many of which were previously taken for granted.
Celebrating the innovative, determined and extraordinary farmers across all sectors, the British Farming Awards will showcase the diversity and adaptability of the UK’s finest farmers.
Alongside farming’s core sectors – dairy, beef, sheep, arable and machinery – there is also recognition in other much valued groups, such as family farms, students, new entrants, new agri-technology and the huge number of diversifications, which are now so crucial to many businesses.
The closing date for entries is Friday, July 3.
