Job – Territory Aftersales Manager – Northern England & Scotland
Due to internal promotion, Amazone Ltd is seeking a highly professional Territory Aftersales Manager to look after Northern England & Scotland
Working as part of a national team, the successful candidate will provide service support for the full range of Amazone products, both Agricultural and Groundcare, across this busy area.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Supporting our dealer network in providing a high level of technical support through direct contact, telephone or e-mail.
- Undertaking the support of machinery installations alongside the dealer network
- Carrying out demonstrations on behalf of our dealer network – working alongside the local Amazone territory sales manager.
- Supporting end customers through the organisation and approach of training and coaching of dealer staff.
- Building customer relationships for the long term by their diligent approach to the role and a comprehensive knowledge of every aspect of the machinery range.
- Administering, devising and delivering training courses for the dealer network.
- Attending national exhibitions and shows and represent the company on the Stand in a professional manner at all times.
- Attending local shows and open evenings in order to support the dealer network.
- Continuously updating your knowledge with regards to the company’s products and to keep up to date with industry developments.
The job will involve extensive travel across Scotland and the Borders as well as working out of Amazone Ltd’s training, education and research facility in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate qualification in agricultural engineering or have time-served experience and ideally have worked in a customer service role in similar environment. They should be able to demonstrate that experience of current agricultural methods and practises gained in a similar sector over a period of more than 5 years and demonstrate good diagnostic ability.
They should also have the ability to supervise and coach dealer staff to be able to carry out repairs and required maintenance techniques using specialist tools and equipment and following approved technical procedures.
The ideal candidate will want to go that extra mile, play a major part in the Amazone Ltd team and show also excellent communication skills, with having the ability to build relationships as well as having good computer skills. Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems for the effective repair of agricultural machinery, with special emphasis on the areas of CANBUS & ISOBUS and precision farming systems is paramount.
