Collaboration Brings Fully Electronic Hydraulics to Modern Agriculture

At Agritechnica 2025, ROPA and Fendt are unveiling e-LS connect, a digital solution that transmits hydraulic pressure requirements via ISOBUS, eliminating the traditional load-sensing line. This fully electronic communication improves stability, precision, and efficiency while simplifying coupling and reducing potential failure points.

In practical applications, the system enhances the performance of machines like the ROPA Keiler 2 RK22 potato harvester, with faster bunker unloading, lower fuel consumption, and better crop quality. Operators benefit from fewer maintenance requirements and reduced manual adjustments.

Fendt tractors and ROPA machines can be upgraded via software updates in 2026, highlighting a move toward cross-manufacturer, standardized hydraulic networking in agriculture.
