Dealer Network Strengthened
To consolidate further growth in the UK, AVR has added a new dealer, Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd, and two service points, Jackson Agri & Plant Ltd and Matt Horler Agricultural Engineering Ltd, to its local network. This enables AVR to guarantee its customers expert advice and the best possible service.
It is AVR’s aim to continue to expand business in the UK market and to be able to display its full machinery range in the UK.
Therefore, as in other key markets, AVR already expanded its local AVR UK team last year to support dealers and customers. AVR is now further strengthening its dealer network in the UK.
Ernest Doe & Sons
Ernest Doe & Sons is well placed to support clients with innovative, reliable AVR machinery backed by their expert advice and service. The AVR machines will be available throughout their entire network, which enables AVR to make its machines easily available to a wide audience.
“Partnering with Ernest Doe & Sons is an important step in strengthening AVR’s presence in the UK. Their extensive branch network, experienced sales teams, and strong aftersales support make them the ideal partner to deliver our machinery to potato growers throughout the Ernest Doe trading area. We look forward to working closely together to help customers maximise their efficiency, yield, and profitability,” said Andrew Starbuck, Country Manager UK, AVR.
Jackson Agri & Plant Ltd and Matt Horler Agricultural Engineering Ltd
And thanks to the appointment of Jackson Agri & Plant Ltd and Matt Horler Agricultural Engineering Ltd as new Service Dealers, potato growers in both the Yorkshire and South West region will now have local, specialist support for AVR machinery. Offering service, spare parts, and sales assistance for AVR’s full range — from planters and harvesters to grading and crop care equipment — they both bring years of root crop expertise to the role.
Led by Managing Director Neil Jackson, Jackson Agri is already well-established in the agricultural sector, providing specialist servicing for a variety of equipment, including applicators from leading manufacturers such as Chafer Horstine, Stocks, and others. Their strong local presence and in-depth technical knowledge make them ideally placed to support AVR customers across Yorkshire.
Matt Horler also brings a lot of experience to the table. With his eagerness and professionalism, he will provide the South West region with excellent service and advice. His reliability will be a valuable asset to the clients.
These service points will be supported by AVR’s UK-based personnel, both in sales and aftersales, each bringing many years of root crop industry experience to ensure customers receive expert advice, efficient service, and reliable parts supply.
