Manufacturer Reorganises Management Team
German agricultural machinery manufacturer Lemken has reorganised its management team, introducing a three-member structure to reinforce expertise and prepare for future industry challenges.
Traditionally operating with a lean structure of a managing director and division heads for development, production, sales, and finance, Lemken said the change responds to the dynamic development of the global market and positions the company for the next generation of leadership.
Anthony van der Ley (61), CEO and management spokesman, will continue to focus on sales and strategic projects. Supporting him, the company has appointed Dr Thomas Lange-Stalinski as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The 53-year-old mechanical engineer brings extensive experience as an operational managing director in the automotive and industrial sectors. From 1 November, he will oversee Development, Plant, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Management, acting as the primary contact for division managers.
In addition, Klaus Kuhl has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), responsible for Finance, Human Resources, and IT. The 54-year-old has international experience in medium-sized companies and expertise in IT and SAP systems. Current CFO Dr Geoffery Weisner will depart by mutual agreement on 30 November after eleven years of service.
Lemken has also maintained an advisory board to support management and provide strategic guidance. Chaired by shareholder Nicola Lemken, the board includes external experts Jürgen Altena, a finance and corporate management specialist, and Axel Meyer, an industrial engineer with development and technology expertise.
Shareholder Nicola Lemken, representing the seventh generation of the family business, emphasised that the new professional management structure will strengthen processes, safeguard success, and deliver high-quality service for employees and customers alike.
