Agritechnica 2027 sets focus on connected agricultural technology
Agritechnica 2027 will focus on the integration of machinery, data and intelligent systems under the guiding theme “Connecting Agricultural Intelligence”, as organisers prepare for the international agricultural machinery trade fair in Hanover, Germany, from 14–20 November 2027.
Organised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the event will cover technologies across the agricultural machinery value chain, including automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital farming and connected equipment. Systems & Components, the dedicated business platform for component and technology suppliers, will again form a key part of the exhibition.
For machinery manufacturers and suppliers, the theme reflects the growing importance of integrating electronics, sensors, software and machine systems, alongside conventional mechanical engineering. The exhibition will provide a forum for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), component suppliers and technology developers to discuss applications and potential commercial partnerships.
The 2025 edition attracted 2,819 exhibitors from 49 countries and around 477,000 professional visitors from 171 countries, underlining the event’s international reach.
Business-focused visitor programme
The 2027 visitor concept includes Agribusiness Days on 14 and 15 November, intended to provide more time for business discussions, networking and investment decisions. Visitors will need to select their intended attendance day when purchasing tickets, with allocations applying throughout the seven-day event.
The ticket shop is scheduled to open on 1 May 2027, initially offering early-booking deals for the Agribusiness Days.
France and Brazil will receive particular attention as focus countries, with dedicated travel packages, networking opportunities and business formats planned. A Young Professionals Day on 19 November will focus on careers, vocational training and attracting new talent to agriculture.
Spotlight on digital and component technologies
The Digital Farm Center will demonstrate practical applications for digitalisation, automation, robotics and artificial intelligence. The Global Farming Systems feature will examine production methods and technology requirements across different agricultural regions, with the aim of showing how solutions perform under varying climatic, economic and operational conditions.
Systems & Components will bring together suppliers of drivetrains, hydraulics, electronics, sensors, software, automation and connected systems. Organisers expect around 900 exhibitors from the supplier industry, with the programme aimed particularly at OEM developers, engineers, procurement managers and other industry decision-makers.
A dedicated Systems & Components Expert Stage will provide a forum for discussion of engineering developments and supplier–manufacturer collaboration.
Exhibitor registration is scheduled to open on 16 November 2026.
