New commercial director to grow tyre business in Ireland
Kevin Burke Tyres (KBT) has appointed Cathal Murtagh as commercial director for original equipment and Alliance aftersales, supporting the tyre brand’s growth across Ireland.
Murtagh brings more than 20 years’ tyre-industry experience across sales, customer relations and business development.
He will develop KBT’s original equipment business, support Alliance dealers and identify opportunities in agricultural tyres and aftersales.
Girish Kumar Patidar, Alliance country manager for Ireland, said:

Cathal’s experience will strengthen our work with dealers and original equipment customers, while helping farmers access technical and aftersales support.”

Murtagh said:

Dealer and OE growth
KBT has been Alliance’s official distributor in Ireland since October 2022. Its national dealer network supplies agricultural and off-road tyres to farmers and contractors.
The next phase of the partnership will focus on dealer recruitment, technical support and growth among trailer manufacturers and other original equipment customers.
