France and Italy put local support at heart of expansion
Grégoire Besson is building its Italian expansion around local sales, technical support and spare parts through its partnership with Maschio Gaspardo, linking the French manufacturer’s soil cultivation equipment with the Italian group’s established market presence.
International partnership, local service
The approach combines Grégoire Besson’s product range with Maschio Gaspardo’s knowledge of Italian dealers, farming practices and customer requirements. For farmers, the intended benefit is support close to home, from selecting equipment to keeping it working in day-to-day use.
The Italian expansion builds on cooperation between the two manufacturers in other markets, including the UK, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
Dealer network and parts support
Under the partnership, Grégoire Besson can draw on a local organisation with sales and technical teams and a stock of spare parts. The manufacturer says this presence is central to providing responsive service and ongoing customer support.
Several Italian dealers already distribute Grégoire Besson equipment. The next step is to expand that network while increasing awareness of the brand among Italian farmers.
The focus is therefore on more than bringing machinery into a new market: the partnership also provides a local route for advice, technical assistance and parts support.
Joint showcase at EIMA
Following an initial presentation at Fieragricola 2026, Grégoire Besson will exhibit alongside Maschio Gaspardo at EIMA International in Bologna from 10 to 14 November 2026, in Hall 25, Stand A/18.
The joint display will feature machinery selected for Italian operating conditions, including the deep-ploughing requirements found in some of the country’s farming regions.
Among the products on show will be the ROVER 80 IMPERIA, a plough developed specifically for Italy’s deep-ploughing conditions.
For Grégoire Besson, the exhibition is a further step towards a long-term Italian presence, with international cooperation providing the foundation for local customer support.
