Changes at the top for Europe & Middle-East
Massey Ferguson has announced significant changes to its Europe and Middle East (EME) leadership structure.
“I would like to inform that Thierry Lhotte, Vice President & Managing Director, Massey Ferguson EME, will be leaving AGCO to focus his activities around his family and personal projects,” said Luis Felli, Senior Vice President & General Manager Massey Ferguson.
Thierry Lhotte started his career with Massey Ferguson 37 years ago and successfully held various roles in the Company. He started in aftersales, evolved into marketing, sales, and led the restructure of Fendt and Valtra France when AGCO purchased these prestigious brands. In his career, Thierry demonstrated a strong engagement in all projects he was given, as well as a commitment to make the Beauvais site more competitive, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen Massey Ferguson beyond the EME Region.
“I want to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Thierry for his outstanding contributions to AGCO. His vision will continue to inspire the brand as we move forward. Thierry will stay in the organisation until the end of August, which will allow a good handover with his successor. Effective immediately, I am pleased to announce that Marco Mazzaferri is being promoted to Vice President & Managing Director Massey Ferguson EME,” added Luis Felli.
Marco joined AGCO in 2015 in Italy and since then has held several roles with Massey Ferguson Europe, such as National Sales Manager for Fendt & Valtra, Global Director of Sales Enablement and Marketing for Massey Ferguson, and most recently, Sales Director MF EME. He holds a degree in engineering from the University of Perugia.
Marco’s main priority is to grow the MF business in the region, increasing market share and profitability. He will also be appointed the President of AGCO SAS and AGCO Distribution SAS, Member of AGCO Finance France Supervisory Board, and Chairman of AGCO France Central Workers Councils.
