Group Market Director appointed

International slurry and manure handling company Samson Group has made some changes to the management team, and Philippe Barabinot has been appointed as the new Group Market Director.

Since January 2022, Philippe Barabinot has served as Regional Sales Director for France and Belgium, overseeing the commercial development of the Pichon and Samson brands. In his new position, he will be based at the Group’s headquarters in Viborg, Denmark, and will be responsible for leading and aligning the global market strategy across all business units.

“In this new role, my main focus will be to accelerate growth for both the Samson and Pichon brands, as well as for the Group as a whole,” says Philippe Barabinot. “In a competitive and complex market environment, we see both challenges and clear opportunities to gain market share and strengthen our position.”

Philippe Barabinot also sees strong potential in the Group’s product portfolio: “Our strength lies in the quality of our machines and the precision of our application tools. By continuing to integrate this quality into all our operations and communications, we can further promote our brands and bring added value to our customers.”

Philippe Barabinot joined Samson Group in 2022, bringing with him over 20 years of commercial experience gained at Continental, a multinational company in the tire industry. His career includes key roles in France, Germany, and most recently in Asia, where he led a 150-person sales and marketing organization. His strong international background and strategic acumen will be key assets in his new role.
