Hedge Cutter Demo Days

Join Major for live demonstrations of their Rotary Hedge Cutter range.

The MJ39 MAJOR Rotary Hedge Cutter is a head for the most intense jobs.

Twin rotors fitted with 8 blades deliver extreme cutting and shredding on overgrown hedges and scrubby areas. Its gear box driveline requires less power consumption and eliminates any rotor balancing issues. This system requires less fuel consumption: owners save up to 3 litres per hour compared to flail head systems.

With less wearing parts, the MJ39 is a durable and reliable attachment for contractors, councils and operators demanding minimal downtime and total cost of ownership.

All MAJOR products are built to last and the MJ39 is no exception. The use of Strenx® 700MC high performance steel for the body, Hardox® abrasion-resistant skids, and a galvanised finish ensures the unit can cope with all manner of work.

The demonstration series will run from Monday October 13th to Thursday October 16th, taking place at four locations across the UK. Each event will be held from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

  • Monday, October 13 – Auchenheath Farm, Lanark, ML11 9XA
  • Tuesday, October 14 – Myerscough College, Lancashire, PR3 0RY
  • Wednesday, October 15 – Green Hill Farm, Oxfordshire, OX15 4AG
  • Thursday, October 16 – Stockland Hill, Devon, EX14 9JA

Michael Tomlinson of Michael E Tomlinson Contractors will be on hand to share valuable tips on maximising efficiencies with the MAJOR Rotary Hedge Cutter and offer advice on managing hedge cutting contracts.

Food and refreshments will be provided throughout the day and all are welcome to attend. Click here for more information.
