LAMMA back on time for the trade.
Last weeks LAMMA show passed off with a strong attendance both days with generally favourable comments from the trade.
The editor spent a busy day on Tuesday treading the halls, which were thronged until late afternoon. Feedback from exhibitors was that even on the traditionally quieter second day, it didn’t quieten down until after 3pm.
Those Agrimachinery.trade spoke to had nothing but praise for the NEC team and site staff during set up and breakdown, however several were less than complementary regarding the aggressive rebooking strategy of the organisers, including ‘rebook before the end of the show, or next years stand prices will go up by 20%’. which was causing furrowed brows for exhibitors.
Likewise, numerous potential exhibitors remain uncommitted as they feel that LAMMA would be a better show, with more widespread support across the whole industry if it ran every two years, this dilemma still remains with the organisers.
