Marque Parts Company with Dealer and Reallocates Territory
Johnston Tractors has agreed with Agco and Fendt to end the promotion, sale and support of the Fendt brand from its Carlisle, Penrith and Dumfries outlets. The decision was reached by mutual agreement between the dealer and the manufacturers.
The dealer will continue to focus on Valtra products , Johnston Tractors said. Fendt confirmed it will reallocate the former Johnston Tractors Fendt territory among existing and neighbouring Fendt dealers to ensure continuity of sales and aftercare for customers in the affected areas.
A handover period is scheduled to start on Monday 15 December, during which stock, service responsibilities and customer records will be transferred to the receiving dealers. Fendt said further details on the reallocation of the sales area and the handover process will be published shortly.
Both parties thanked staff and customers for their cooperation. Fendt expressed its appreciation for Johnston Tractors’ work in promoting the brand locally and wished the team success in its continued Valtra-focused operations.
Customers seeking advice on service, parts or their current contracts were advised to contact their local Johnston Tractors branch in the first instance while formal guidance from Fendt and the new appointed dealers is finalised.
