Borders arable machinery partnership announced

  • Pottinger has formed a partnership with family-owned business, A B Wight Engineering, located in the Scottish Borders

Founded in 2012, brothers Andrew and Garry Wight of A B Wight Engineering have established themselves as a reputable dealer in the area.  Notably the company has recently unveiled a new premises that will enable the business to continue to look after their customers, existing and new, for sales, parts, service and more.

To mark this significant milestone with their new premises, A B Wight Engineering will be hosting an Open Event on the 20th and 21st of October.

This event is an opportunity to meet the team, look round their new premises and explore a diverse range of farming solutions including cutting-edge PÖTTINGER arable equipment alongside their McCormick tractor brand and products from other leading manufacturers.

Mel Gardner, General Manager for PÖTTINGER UK, expressed their enthusiasm for the partnership, “I am really looking forward to working with both Andrew and Garry.  I found their energy, drive and ambition just what we need to really nurture and grow our arable/cropcare machinery and technology in this area.”
