ADAMA has announced the appointment of Ben Goffin as a new National Account Manager within its commercial team.
Reporting to ADAMA’s Commercial Manager, Ben will work as part of ADAMA’s wider sales team to develop and deliver the company’s commercial strategy by working closely with commercial, technical and agronomy contacts at his assigned customers.
Ben joins ADAMA from British Sugar plc where, since June 2017, he was the company’s senior contract manager at its Cantley processing factory. Prior to this he has held buying, logistics and agronomy posts with Frontier Agriculture Ltd and the Birds Eye Iglo Group.
“We’re excited to welcome Ben to the ADAMA team and look forward to working with him to bolster ADAMA’s position as one of the UK’s leading agrochemical suppliers,” explains Hank King, Commercial Manager. “His background in agronomy, logistics management and contract negotiations makes him ideally suited to the role of national account manager and I’m sure he’ll be a key part of ADAMA’s continued expansion and market share growth in the UK.”
Based just outside Norwich, Ben is a graduate of the University of Lincoln – BA (Hons) Business Studies – and has a BASIS Diploma in Agronomy. He is also an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
