Bredal acquired by the Erhvervsinvest Group
- The Erhvervsinvest Group, has bought the Danish fertiliser spreader manufacturer Bredal
- The company intends to merge Bredal with Bogballe the spreader manufacturer purchased by the company in 2017
Anders Bull Jenson and COO Torben Sørensen believe the two companies are a good fit and the merger will bring lots of benefits. Jenson and Sørensen will become shareholders in the new business and plan to continue in their current roles.
Management at Bogballe are positive about the merger and feel it will open up new opportunities in the market and technology areas.
”Agriculture has experienced an increasing digitalisation of farming machinery, so Bredal and Bogballe will be able to further develop their product programmes together,” comments Bogballe director Henning Troelsen.
Bredal manufactures trailed fertiliser and lime spreaders. They are available in working widths of up to 36m with hopper capacities of up to 19,000 litres. The company sells to over 25 countries.
Bogballe produce mounted fertiliser spreaders with working widths of up to 42m and a hopper capacity of up to 5,500 litres. They are available in over 45 countries.
The two companies employ 109 people who are divided between three Danish factories.
