New BASIS classroom provides access to unique online courses
- BASIS Classroom is an online learning platform which has been exclusively available for BASIS Professional Register Members for the past 15 months
This has provided BASIS members with a new opportunity to access unique online courses which not only help develop their technical knowledge but also provides a simple way of collecting BASIS CPD points at a time convenient to them. This has been especially important during a period when restrictions put in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic limited other opportunities to carry out Continuing Professional Development, with many training courses and industry events being cancelled.
BASIS say, “It has been fantastic to see how everyone has adapted during this time, and this has been demonstrated by the number of people who have been utilising the BASIS Classroom with our members completing almost 20,000 courses and collecting over 35,000 BASIS CPD oints since the platform was first made available. This has also only been possible thanks to the support of our CPD event organisers who have worked alongside BASIS to provide 17 unique courses within the BASIS Classroom.”
Following this huge success the BASIS Classroom will be moving on to a new platform from the 20th of September. This development will allow BASIS to us to provide its members with more online courses which offer unique interactive learning experiences, from a wider range of course providers, covering a broader range of relevant technical content. All the courses currently on the BASIS Classroom will be moved over to the new system, and several new online courses and unique learning experiences will be made available to members over the coming weeks.
Members will receive an email with their login details for the new BASIS Classroom on Monday 20th September.
