New Grassland and Livestock Product Marketing Specialist
Kuhn Farm Machinery (UK) Ltd has expanded its UK marketing team with the appointment of Sam Alford as product marketing specialist for grassland and livestock equipment. Based at the company’s Telford headquarters, Alford will support the company’s area sales managers and dealer network across the full grassland machinery portfolio, including mowers, balers, feeding and bedding equipment, and hedge and verge cutters.
Alford brings wide-ranging experience from both dealership operations and agricultural machinery manufacturing. After completing a land‑based engineering apprenticeship at Walford and North Shropshire College, he joined former John Deere dealership Alexander and Duncan—later merging into the Tallis Amos Group (TAG)—where he gained expertise in forage harvesters and grassland machinery sales and technical service. He later moved to a major grassland equipment manufacturer as a territory product support manager. Alford subsequently returned to TAG as service manager at its Shropshire depot before progressing into a territory sales role. He joined Kuhn in late 2025.
Commenting on his appointment, Alford highlighted Kuhn’s strong focus on innovation and emerging autonomy solutions as key attractions. He said he was excited to help grow all areas within his remit, noting that his combined background across sales, technical support, and machinery supply has given him an understanding of the challenges faced by both manufacturers and dealers—knowledge he aims to apply in strengthening the companies wider support network.
