Partsformachines expands its supplier partnerships

  • Aftermarket online sales concept transformed to successful reality for the agricultural and construction sectors, as Partsformachines.com expands its supplier partnerships
  • PFM adds Trico to its supplier list

Parts for Machines (PFM) – which aims to become the first one-stop aftermarket online sales platform for Agriculture and Plant machinery – is now in the fourth quarter of its first trading year and is celebrating its latest partnership, with wiper blade giant Trico, as well as the expansion of some existing partnerships, as it looks forward optimistically to the future.

The concept of top brands being delivered to the doorstep of farmers or construction companies/sites has found a ready market and the level of business transacted has steadily risen since Parts for Machines’ inception. The number of supplier partners has been steadily growing and this latest partnership will extend PFM’s overall offer with a wide range of quality blades on offer from one of the industry’s legendary brands.

Trico has been quick to see the potential in being the wiper brand for the unique aftermarket sales platform as First Brands Group Brand & Marketing Manager (Europe), Sam Robinson, explains, “We’re thrilled to join the innovative company that is Parts For Machines. They’re still a ‘young’ company, but they have certainly made their mark on the industry and we’re delighted to be able to say that we’re now joining their journey.”

Nowadays part of the flourishing First Brands Group, Trico is the world’s longest established windscreen wiper blade producer.“As the inventor of the wiper blade, TRICO is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of windscreen wiper systems, blades and refills, with production facilities on five continents,” Sam Robinson continues. “Our range of “TX” heavy duty blades are engineered specifically for demanding industrial environments and are a perfect addition to the PFM portfolio. Alongside this our key “Exact Fit” and “Flex” ranges designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles will ensure that customers of PFM can cover their wiper blade needs for their entire fleet.”

The customer experience has always been one of the focal points with Partsformachines.com and it is shortly going to be able to offer an expanded  service with two of its biggest brands.

PFM’s well-established supplier-partners are extending their reach, as the portal launches a new “widget” to simplify the customer journey and  to locate the right SIP compressor or welding machines for their needs, while Astrak increases the number of its part references on PFM from 1800 to almost 40,000 undercarriage tracks and associated hardware. TRICO will also have a wiper blade finder as part of their offer on the PFM platform.

PFM is still expanding its supplier partner base and the platform is set to announce several more well-known names in the coming quarter, to cover further product areas in even greater depth than before.

General user-friendliness for the platform has also been enhanced with a new Frequently Asked Questions facility that should help the customer journey – although the opportunity for personal interaction has by no means diminished and remains a key facility for users of the Partsformachines.com platform.

“We are also delighted to be able to report that Partsformachines.com continues to have a 5* rating on TrustPilot,” enthuses Parts for Machines Press Officer, Simon Maurice. “We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has ordered and reviewed us!

“It all means that Partsformachines.com is increasingly becoming regarded as the one-stop shop it set out to be. We are always conscious that down-time costs money, so delivering to the door should make maintenance an easier and more efficient process. That has to be good news for everyone in the sector who is looking to maintain their machines in the most convenient, cost effective way possible.”
