Strong exhibitor demand for Agritechnica 2021

  • The world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery to be held in Hanover, Germany, from 14th to 20th November, 2021
  • Online platform “AGRITECHNICA digital” to be launched in May
  • More than 2,000 exhibitors expected
  • Around 90 percent of the exhibition grounds already booked up.

Hot on the the heels of John Deere pulling out of Agritechnica, the organisers have stated that “there are signs of very good participation by agricultural machinery manufacturers from both Germany and abroad.”

The organiser of Agritechnica, DLG (German Agricultural Society), expects more than 2,000 exhibitors.

“The number of exhibitor registrations to date underscores the importance of Agritechnica as a global platform for agricultural machinery manufacturers and their suppliers,” says Freya von Czettritz, Project Manager for Agritechnica. “Numerous leading agricultural machinery companies have already signed up or are currently in the planning stages of their trade show appearance at the trade show in Hanover in November. From May this year, all exhibitors will be able to present themselves on our new online platform ‘AGRITECHNICA digital’.

“Together with our ‘Safe Business’ concept for the physical trade fair in Hanover in November, we are working closely with our exhibitors to create the best possible planning conditions for safe and successful participation in the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery,” adds Freya von Czettritz.

Agricultural technology companies focused on Agritechnica

Companies that have already registered as exhibitors at Agritechnica 2021 include CLAAS, AGCO, SDF, Kubota, Amazone, Kuhn, Kverneland, Krone, Horsch, Lemken, Pöttinger, Grimme and Väderstad.

“Our most important goal is to finally get back to normal, meet our customers and exchange ideas in person,” explains Cornelia Horsch, HORSCH Maschinen GmbH, describing the mood in the industry.

“With the DLG, we have a professional and reliable partner with whom we can develop appropriate solutions even in difficult situations, ” says Franz Grimme, GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik, looking to the future with confidence.

New hybrid trade fair format

The “AGRITECHNICA digital” platform will be launched in May, six months ahead of the actual trade fair to be held in Hanover, Germany. From this point onwards, exhibitors will be able to host their own events on the digital platform and deliver information about their products and services.

The participating companies will benefit from the familiar image of Agritechnica as well as the opportunity to connect online with the international network for which both the DLG and Agritechnica is famous. This participation will enable exhibitors to increase their own digital reach and visibility in a targeted manner and to establish new business contacts.

“Together with the exhibitors at Agritechnica and numerous professional partners from the international agricultural sector, the DLG will be using the new digital platform to focus on the current challenges facing national and international agriculture and to discuss concepts and strategies,” adds Freya von Czettritz, looking forward to the launch of “AGRITECHNICA digital” in May.
