Suffolk dealer ceases trading

  • Suffolk Agri Centre– dealers in McCormick, Krone, Cousins, Amazone, Teagle, Lynx and Stocks has closed its doors after 30 years

At the time of going to print there had been no official statement from the company but there has been a lot of speculation in social media.

The daughter of one of the owners posted online to confirm the company had ceased trading and said, “Yes my dad David Eley has sadly has to close Suffolk Agri Centre, Fakenham after over 30 years.  He just ran out of money. He has put a lot over the past few years from his fown pocket and private pension but in the end with such low margins it was inevitable.

Former customers were sad to learn the fate of the company and commented that staff were always helpful and provided a good service. Jeremy Perkins of Silostop Agri posted on facebook “Sadly Suffolk Agri Centre has gone into receivership.  A very sad time for David Eley, Ken and all the team that worked there.”

Another customer posted on facebook that she had been phoning for days with no answer and the premises padlocked.  Apparently the company had her mower in for repair for over 3 months and she was getting concerned that she would never see it again!
