Dealers bag a brace of new sales and service staff
Construction machinery dealers Conagri and agricultural machinery dealers AMIA double up for sales and service.
Construction equipment dealers Conagri and sister company and agricultural machinery distributors AMIA have made two major new appointments in the face of booming business.
The Devon-based businesses have recruited Jeremy Sawford as sales account manager, covering sales in Cornwall for both companies. Jeremy has 25 years of agricultural expertise, having worked for a local John Deere dealership for a number of years and on his own farm.
He will be selling the full Conagri portfolio for farms and forestry, including Venieri pivot steer loaders, Sunward excavators and Captain Tractors compact tractors, as well as GL&D woodchippers, Sfoggia vegetable transplanters and Valentini power harrows and stone crushers, for AMIA, to name just a few.
Jeremy said: “I am excited by the new challenge of joining up-and-coming companies with extensive ranges of machinery in agriculture, forestry, construction and industrial.”
Conagri and AMIA have also recruited Tom Brice as service and product specialist, covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire as well as nationally. He will focus on Sunward excavator service and warranty in Conagri’s dealership areas as well as all the other brands. Both businesses distribute on a national basis.
Tom will also undertake repairs on other brands’ machinery in the Devon area. He comes with an extensive background in engineering, electrical engineering and product development at both a national manufacturer level, with a premium UK agricultural machinery manufacturer, and at a regional dealership level.
Tom said: “I’m looking forward to helping the companies grow with servicing and ongoing backup support for the great ranges of products we have chosen to specialise in.”
