Pöttinger revenue rises
Pöttinger Landtechnik GmbH has reported renewed revenue growth for 2025/26, pointing to a gradual recovery in parts of the agricultural machinery market and continued investment in the dealer support network.
The Austrian manufacturer recorded turnover of EUR 485 million for the year ending 31 July 2026, up 5% from EUR 461 million in 2024/25. While still below its 2022/23 peak of EUR 641 million, the result reflects improving demand despite pressure on farm incomes, volatile commodity markets and a challenging economic backdrop.
Grassland machinery remained a key performer. Pöttinger said market shares stayed high, with gains in haymaking equipment and loader wagons. Exports continue to generate around 90% of sales, led by France and Germany, while Austria delivered above-average year-on-year growth.
For machinery dealers and distributors, the most significant supply chain development is the expansion of Pöttinger’s international parts logistics centre at Taufkirchen, Upper Austria. Supported by 17 regional warehouses across Europe, America, Asia and Australia, the centre is designed to maintain fast spare-parts availability for customers worldwide.
Construction began in March 2026 and is due to finish in December 2026. The project will add 3,000 sqm of floor space, a fourth aisle in the automated small-parts warehouse and 10,000 extra storage spaces. The pallet warehouse will expand from ten rows to 17, increasing capacity for replacement parts and reducing pressure on downstream dealer inventories.
The company is also strengthening its product pipeline. Recent launches include the AEROSEM M implement-mounted seed drill, the AEROSEM F seed drill with front hopper and the SYNKRO universal cultivator. Pöttinger has completed testing of the PURO H 3000 precision planter ahead of its planned market introduction.
In grassland equipment, it highlighted an automatic swath placement system for the NOVACAT V mower, the LIQUIDO F silage additive tank, the PROFI 5000 loader wagon and the BOSS 5000 loader wagon with tine conveyor loading. The company has also rolled out version 4.0 of its HARVEST ASSIST app, supporting machine location tracking, workflow planning, harvest progress monitoring and navigation.
Pöttinger employs about 2,100 people across 37 nationalities and manufactures at five sites: Grieskirchen and St. Georgen bei Grieskirchen in Austria, Bernburg in Germany, Vodňany in Czechia and San Vito al Tagliamento in Italy. The company said cooperation between staff, dealers and suppliers remained central to performance.
Gregor Dietachmayr, Speaker of the Executive Board, said markets had shown early signs of stabilisation but warned that European drought and lower crop yields could affect the outlook. He said Pöttinger would continue investing in innovation, digitisation, products and services to support customers and secure future growth.
