Spanish plough manufacturer puts the pedal to the metal with new UK distribution
Effective 1st January 2021, Ovlac, the Spanish quality plough manufacturers, will have a wholly owned UK subsidiary, Ovlac UK responsible for all sales, marketing and aftercare.
Ovlac have been established in the UK market for over ten years, initially imported by Reco and latterly by Halse South West, who have done an excellent job building the brands presence and market share.
“Ovlac has now been present for nearly 10 years in the UK, first with Reco and, since its closure, with Halse South West who have done a superb job in the last 5 years. With several hundreds of machines at work, we now feel at Ovlac that it is time to go one step further and commit ourselves more directly to such an important market. We believe we have a bright future ahead and together with Nick Clark, who will be our man on the ground, we offer smart, profitable solutions to British farmers.

Establishing a wholly owned UK subsidiary is the next natural step in developing the business and one that is supported by the outgoing importer.

The UK operation is headed up by Nick Clark, formerly Ovlac sales manager for Halse South West.
“As the man on the ground with a decade of experience with Ovlac, I am looking to next decade in front of me, working more closely with our loyal dealers, and expanding the network coverage further. With the new machines coming on line in 2021 this strengthens Ovlac’s armoury of innovative tillage solutions.” Nick says.
