Strategic slurry partnership unveiled
- Redrock Machinery has unveiled a strategic partnership with Agquip Ltd through the establishment of a joint venture.
The company says that as a valued supplier for many years, Agquip Ltd are an ideal collaborator to further enhance Redrock’s capabilities and deliver unparalleled value to its customers. This joint venture represents a commitment to excellence, innovation, and mutual success.
Founded in 2009 by James O’Kane, Agquip Ltd began designing and manufacturing Low Emission Slurry Spreading Equipment (LESSE) in compliance with the new Nitrates Directives introduced by DAERA.
In 2010, Agquip started supplying LESSE to Redrock Machinery and the dealer network, a strong supply-chain relationship that has continued to the present day.
In 2015, Agquip designed and developed its own Macerator, which immediately gained popularity and was adapted on a large number of slurry tankers due to its user-friendly design and efficient slurry spreading. Today, the Agquip product range includes reelers, pumps and slurry spreading solutions of up to 24 metres in working width.
Moving forward, Agquip production will relocate to a new refurbished production facility at the Redrock Machinery Armagh Factory, marking a significant investment in enhancing operational efficiency. The Ballymoney facility will become a specialised research, development and testing site for the Agquip Machinery Product Portfolio.
