UK tractor registrations continue to rise in July

UK agricultural tractor registrations remained ahead of last year’s levels in July, although the pace of growth slowed compared with earlier months.

A total of 934 agricultural tractors were registered during the month, up 6.1% on July 2025, according to the Agricultural Engineers Association.

The increase was the smallest recorded so far in 2026, but registrations remained around 6% below the average for the month over the previous five years.

For the first seven months of the year, 6,889 tractors were registered in the UK, a 19.8% increase compared with the same period in 2025. The year-to-date total was also ahead of registrations during January to July 2024.

The figures suggest that the UK tractor market has continued to recover from the weaker levels seen during the previous two years, although monthly registrations remain below longer-term averages.
