UK CEO for North American tractor operation
McCormick North America has announced the appointment of Richard Haines as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1.
Haines joins the North American operation following a successful tenure as Commercial Director at Argo Tractors GB, where he played a key role in strengthening the McCormick brand and supporting dealer network growth across Great Britain.
In his new position, Haines will lead McCormick North America through its next phase of development, with a focus on enhancing customer engagement, strengthening dealer partnerships, and driving continued growth across the region.
Franco Artoni, Director of Corporate Business at Argo Tractors S.p.A., welcomed the appointment, describing Haines as a highly experienced industry leader with a strong commercial background and deep knowledge of the McCormick brand.
“We are delighted to welcome him to this important position and look forward to the contribution he will make to our North American business,” Artoni said.
Commenting on his appointment, Haines said he was honoured to take on the role and excited about the opportunities ahead.
“Having worked closely with the brand since 2024, I look forward to collaborating with colleagues, dealers and customers across the region to achieve great things together,” he said.
Haines will retain his director responsibilities at Argo Tractors GB on an interim basis while supporting the transition of Jonathan Newton into the role of Commercial Manager GB.
